1. Japanese mailing labels (PDF file) for the 27 main companies in Japan that distribute, import, license, and sell music from foreign indie artists, bands and record labels. All mailing labels are written in Japanese and are sent to you as a PDF file. The Japanese mailing labels can be printed on Avery #5163 labels or the equivalent format with other brands of labels as long as it has 10 labels per 8.5" x 11" letter-size sheet (2 columns of 5 labels, each 4" wide x 2" tall). There is also an A4 size version available that can be printed on Avery L7173 labels (European/Asian A4 size sheets). Or you can simply print the mailing labels on regular paper, cut them out and glue or tape them onto your package.

2. A guide (PDF file) is provided with all the addresses in English and a numbering system to help you reference the mailing label written in Japanese with the English translation in the guide. Some comments are also provided about specific companies (i.e. music genres). Among the companies in the list, 5 specialize in urban/club/dance/DJ music (CD and vinyl records) and 1 specializes in rock/hard rock/punk/metal. All other companies accept almost all music genres. Other useful info is provided, such as the contact info for companies that organize and support live tours/gigs in Japan for foreign bands/artists/labels.

3. A Japanese cover letter (PDF file) which you can print/copy and include with your packages so that they know why you sent it and who to contact (even though the other contents of your package may be in English or another language). The letter is generic so that it can be copied and sent to all the companies on the list. You simply write your name, genre and contact info where noted on the page. The Japanese cover letter is provided as a PDF file which when printed fits on one 8.5" x 11" letter-size paper (A4-size also available).

The cover letter has several versions available:
- For solo artist / DJ / band seeking a Japanese distributor/licensor/importer for finished product(s)
- For solo artist / DJ / band just sending demos to Japanese record companies in hopes of getting "signed"
- For record label (or company with 1 or more artists/bands/DJs) seeking a Japanese distributor/licensor/importer for finished product(s)
